The stand-out piece of memorabilia in the auction was Jimi Hendrix's 1966 Red Fender Mustang, which sold for $410,000. Other notable items were Music Rising co-founder, The Edge's 1975 Cream Gibson Les Paul Custom, a Gibson Music Rising Les Paul signed by the Rolling Stones, and Emeril Lagasse's signed green Baldwin R1 Artists Grand piano. The exhibit, produced and curated by Curse Mackey, is a collection of over 40 Dean ML guitars that have been hand-painted, illustrated, and sculpted by top musicians and artists including Zakk Wylde, James Hetfield, Kerry King, Ted Nugent, and Joe Satriani.
